Susan and I have had many discussions about both our childhoods and our lives in general. It’s been a long story with many bumps. My hope is that others can benefit from my experiences by helping avoid the negative ones and enjoy the positive ones.

After deciding to document some of my thoughts on the topic. Naturally, being a web guy, the next step was for me to grab a domain name.

The TellYourStory.ws domain was available

I was quite surprised that I was able to grab the tellyourstory.ws domain! So at 9:43 pm this evening I got it.

The .ws domains cost more than the commonly used domains.

Being in the web development field since 1998 has taught me that words in a domain name are quite important. And this one is fairly short – with the right words. More importantly they are totally pertinent words related to the book’s topic. Having “tell” and “your” and “story” will help the search engines find this site.

As for .ws domains in particular, I usually tell people to think in terms of “website” for the .ws ending the domain name.

One of my goals with this website will ultimately be to make the words “tell your story” findable by the search engines. I expect that to be quite a task, since that phrase appears to be very commonly used on the web.
